SGA OWNS MSG

SGA now extends his undefeated record in the famed stadium to 7-0 all time.

SGA also extends his streak of 20+ point games to 124, two back from Wilt’s all-time record.

On the second night of a back-to-back, the Thunder eeked out a 3-point lead that at times felt as if the Thunder would win by 15. Landry Shamet, oddly enough, was the only Knicks player (besides KAT) tonight who seemed to have a pulse and was a key spark plug off the bench to make this a competitive game in the 3rd.

NY largely could not get anything going as Brunson, Bridges, Hart, and OG were a combined 21-63 (33%) from the field tonight.

On the other side, SGA did what he does and poured in 26 points, but the Thunder ultimately won this game tonight because of Chet Holmgren’s dominant 28-point, 8-rebound game. Also, have to give Cason Wallace a shoutout. He simply does it all (4 pts, 4 reb, 3 ast, 4 stls).

Had to look into this as I noticed a significant amount of the players tonight were wearing pink. I couldn’t find anything stating this, but I believe the team did it in lieu of Shai debuting the Pink 001s… Which he gifted to Tracy Morgan after the game.

Got to take a moment to say, you know what fuck yea to the pre-game fit today as well.

And lastly, since we’re in NY, we’ve got to take note of the celebrities court side tonight. Seinfeld, Fat Joe, Carmelo, and Patrick Ewing, to name a few. Thankful the Lisan Al-Gaib wasn’t there, or things may have ended differently.

Shoutout New York man, I’ll leave us with a photo I took in the city on my recent trip.
