Needed that loss, after losing JT Toppin and going on this insane offensive hot streak the last 3 games this was bound to happen. Let this be a wake up call that we can’t just bank on making an ungodly amount of threes and skip our way to a national championship.
TCU simply had more effort, toughest team wins. And in no stat was that more evident than in the rebound category where TCU had 39 to TTU 25. They wanted it more and they got it.
Thankfully Kansas decided they would also shit all over themselves and so we live to fight another day in the 3 seed in conference standings.
We look ahead to a tough road test at BYU Saturday night, before we head into BIG12 tournament play.
